About Instant

Instant is one of the most popular ruin pubs in Budapest, Hungary. It is a trendy, contemporary, alternative bar and gathering venue that attracts lots of locals and tourists of all ages and many backgrounds. Ruin pubs have a mixture of run-down rooms, contemporary art installations and a very unique vibe.

The website

When I redesigned instant.co.hu I wanted to create a minimalistic “hipster” website that acts as a frame and later can be filled with colourful collages and photographs about the place. I used the classic Helvetica with the also classic Arial typeface. The goal was to appeal to the main audience of instant and create a simple structure that they can easily understand and navigate trough to find the most important informations about the venue, while emitting the same contemporary feeling as the place itself.
